The RaceMD objectives are to:

-- Identify promising medical compounds with the aid of medical experts.
-- Test these compounds and report the results with the aid of medical experts.
-- Move the most promising compounds to expedited human clinical trials.
-- Bring the medicine from the testing lab to the patients as quickly as possible.
-- Improve the quality of life for our DMD boys.

There are many actions that are of immediate value to the search for intermediate DMD therapies.  Information, communication, analysis, critical reasoning, funding, testing and from testing development of medicine for DMD boys.  Since tissue testing can provide quick answers and directions to other support, we start here.

Funding of tests. The lab and testing capabilities are in place.  Testing costs $5,000 per compound.  Sponsoring the testing of one or more compounds is the most direct path to achieving our mission.

Funding of the search. RaceMD will utilize its funding to pursue development of medicine for DMD boys with all deliberate speed.  RaceMD will remain independent, unbiased and timely.  

Information. Please send us all information you have that you consider to be of value on any potential therapy, research, or testing methods. Please post in our forum observations you are willing to share on your DMD boy, his health, and any neutracuticals or other substances which you found to have an effect on DMD. 

Communication. Let us know your thoughts, concerns, and instructions.  Yes, instructions, as we will defer to the results of parent polls on items of major significance. See our Forum page for more details. 

Analysis. We ask for your contribution to the analysis of the competing therapies if it is within your expertise.  

Critical reasoning. If you are able to contribute to a general discussion of the research, testing, research methods, next steps, or alike, please do so.
